Which chair and material??

I decided to add a new chair to my family room. The attached photos are options I have to cover a chair. I know I want a chair with an ottoman but need help deciding which style. Which material do you think is best to go in my space?

Here is the rest of my family room. I could not move the couch in front of Windows due to several vents.

I think I like the second material best! I like them all

Thanks Alysia! I like the first one b/c of the circles and the colors. I have circles on the walls in the room. BUT I really like the second one too.

Go with either the circles or the 6-sided thingies. The other two patterns look too heavy with your black leather.

    I like the 2nd.

The sectional is dark brown. The rug will not stay. I want to get a larger, different one once the new chair is established. Yes, the green leather recliner is staying.

I like the second fabric choice. It compliments the sectional and allows many different accent colors.

I like #3 best. The tweed design is nice gives texture and is neutral. It will go with both sofa and chair.

Ted- Yes, the leather recliner is a hunter green. Below is a picture I have on my phone with the chair in it. I'm leaning towards the navy hexagon print.

I like fabric number three. I always prefer more neutral furniture and like to add color elsewhere. One and two might get old quick. Four seems too dark with your couch

I agree with adding accents in color. However, I want a chair that is fun and will make the room "pop".

Add the "Pop" with pillows and throws. Stay with the brown, beige and green. Also please remove those cones off the edge of the mantel. Thank you.

Thanks Gary and Walter and zzmom!
Why are some of you hating on my "cones?"
    Still on mantle....

    Go with the second one.

I believe when you look at the cones, you see all that they mean, you get what they are. when someone looks at them and does not know what they are, they are just black and red paper cones or megaphones, not an appealing concept? Sometimes decor is about that. Is it something you want to explain all the time?

About the chairs, I love the first one, but I wonder about comfort, i might be comfortable in that size but would guests, also that fabric - at least in that pic would not go with your furniture. The second chair seems like a better fit both for guests and in color. It looks like it would provide a lightness to the space.

Regarding the fabrics, i too like them all, but I am into soft furnishings. If you get one with a pattern, that is what you have til the chair gives, or you invest a large some to recover. Whereas, if you get one of the last two, your chair is still unique, it goes very well with your current color scheme. Lastly, it allows you to change with the seasons and/or styles. Much less to get a new pillows, curtains, throws, lamps, or rugs to keep up to date. right this minute, most of us could give you at least 3 different rooms, throw in a patterned chair it becomes harder to do.

    I like the second pattern!
