If you intend growing it from seed, then try adenium seeds.com. at thailand. He has a website and prices are reasonable, also seeds are of good quality. Beware of Ali express fake seed sellers please

He charged a nominal amount from me ($30) for registered letter parcel and sent me 20 seeds of black giant and 20 of golden bell and charged 6.12 as shipping +paypal fee to be paid in advance.

In my opinion it is better to pay more and not have hassles of return shipping and issues with seeds by ordering from a reliable source than getting ripped off on Ali express. The Chinese may be great for electronics and other stuff but seeds absolutely not.

The seeds from Adeniumseeds.com on the other hand, were good and mostly all germinated and are surviving till now despite the cold weather in new delhi at this moment. Mine must be the most poorly off ones from the grow out, but then sowing in Sep was a wrong move I guess. Am going to sow the rest in March when it grows warmer. Incase you are interested in buying plants then I could tell you a source.Dino adenium isn't shipping to India as of the moment but there are others specially down south(from whom I bought two huge arabicum YS) who are doing great work!! Let me know.

Thanks a ton Sinha, no i dont want to buy plants, I want to grow seedlings.. Am curious without gebrellic or b1 or ready mix fertilizer, can we grow some good fat multi branch seedlings ... All seeds I i have bought are from Rinoa and have grown single shoots. So was looking to try some specific arabicums instead of the Obesum. So this time want to tey for some nice caudexes rather than flower colors.

But 30 dollor shipping of a 10 gram seed packet by airmail is too much. Most that i have ordered. Plumeria or adenium from diff countries, shipping for seeds is always less than 10$.

Shipping + seed cost was $30, Shimolee. $5 was shipping and $1.62 was paypal cost..rest was seeds

The first sign should be the leaves. They are long yet very thin width and often 'wavy'.

Hey Stuart, where are you from? I just recently bought seeds from Adeniumseeds.com. Kerson was great to deal with. I bought 30 seeds and he gave me 10 for free. I got Thai Socotranum golden bell/s1 and Thai Socotranum 'golden coral'. Just email him and ask for a list of available seeds. He didn't even go through the phytosanitary process with my seeds. although he did give me the option. I still received my seeds no problem I am in Northern California. I haven't started them yet because I want to grow them in natural sunlight. I am getting itchy though and am almost about to get them ready to pop. It honestly cost me more getting my seeds from Adenium center then Adeniumseeds.com. I don't even think I bought as many seeds from adenium center.

I doubt if you will be able to make out if its Crispum or not until it flowers. I am not actually aware of the plant charachteristics or if they differ in some way from obesum etc. However, am keen to follow your progress.

Saw Jedoba's listing od Aliexpess. In the description the seller writes: adenium obesum crispum..makes me even more confused

Glad you received the bossom jade seeds, I'll order them in a few months. The leaves look similar to crispum, but not the shape of the flowers: too round IMHO.

I ordered 4 crispum seeds from a German supplier last night, at an exorbitant price. But I really like to have a crispum, so what's an addict to do eh... :-)

Yes, the leaves on the seedlings do not carry leaves similar to those of Crispum. They may produce leaves alike Crispum in there next few sets?

I believe this Bossom Jade is a hybrid Crispum? Typically the flower petals are more pointed and sides and tip tend to roll a bit w very pronounced nectar guides.

Rinoa has both this form [Bossom Jade (hers not named the same) & a more true looking Crispum] as grafted plants.

Six month seedling...the base is quite thick, i had dumped dry sand on top since quite a bit of potting mix washed away when it fell over in rains

Hi, everyone! I've posted concerning a particular seedling but never received a response. All 7 of the month old seedlings pictured are from the same batch of same seed, Double Irresistible.

However, the one in the center is completely different. Its first leaves were normal sized, but all the other leaves came in super slender. Perhaps this is a crispum or crispum hybrid ... It is not wavy leaved.
