Is the last picture your final colors for the windows .. charcoal and tan combo? If you are going for black shutters, then doing a charcoal door with tonal accent on the outline rather than a big color shift like you have now .. that would be my suggestion - or go charcoal and inset some small deep brick red against it. Charcoal and black is another option - something less high in contrast will bring out the details in a tonal way that looks expensive ..
