Love the scheme you are putting together here! Personally I would stick with standard white glazed one (2nd from the right). My second choice would be the farthest right one. Good Luck with your Reno!

love everything. out of all the bottom tile i like the larger plain subway (second to the last).

I would not do the whole shower in the herringbone I would use them for the floor and maybea n accent but larger format tiles for the walls even your floor tile I would look for some larger tile in the same marble as the floor tile in your shower.

I agree with Patricia. For the shower use the floor tile chosen along with the floor & use the herringbone pattern as an accent on the back of shower & w/in the soap niches since there will be so much grout.

Then use the 2nd from the right for the wall area with a chair rail of tile in the same finish. Lay in a running bond horizontally & add a straight wood painted baseboard. I love the vanity you have chosen.

I would go with the classic hexagon in a marble for the floor of the shower.

I think what you have selected so far is stunning.

Is the white tile (3x8) polished? It's hard to tell in the photo. I would recommend a polished white tile, as opposed to a satin, or matte white tile. It will help lighten the space and make it sparkle.

I think a chair rail trim piece could be the only missing component. Here is a photo for inspiration:

Another option is to do a pattern like the image below, but use your wavy tile in the place of the decorative tile depicted. For this design, I would use the wavy tile and the white subway (tile 1 and 3, respectively).

There is a thread where a lady is having endless problems putting Lowes marble in her shower. From what I read its low grade marble and chips and has bad variations. You might consider trying some from tilebar. I did my kitchen backsplash in their carrera squares and was very pleased with quality of marble.

Concerned. It is a bathroom with a bathtub. I was going to use the herringbone for the walls within the bathtub area? Is that an issue for the herringbone
As well? What is the mishaps? Does is not hold moisture well? Chips? Please

The herringbone tile design shouldn't be a problem for the bathtub walls. It's really not much different than a stacked stone or subway tile, when you think about it. You also shouldn't have any problems with the moisture either (just be sure to seal the grout!). The tiles shouldn't chip as long as you get a good quality product and your tile guy installs it as per the manufacturer's recommendations. I really like Tilebar for quality over Home Depot or Lowes for stone tiles (and they are still affordable!). Hopes this gives you peace of mind. Talk with your installer about the herringbone. I love it and just used some in my kitchen on the back splash. Because of the challenges in setting it to get a perfect match, it can cost a bit more to install.
