The wall that the bed is on, seems to be the best location for the bed. Are you going to purchase an armoire and a dresser? Are you going to watch TV in this room?

I also like the current layout. Big bed on the biggest wall.

Thanks for your input. I was probably going to purchase a long dresser and either an armoire or tall dresser too for extra storage. My husband wants to mount a TV for when we relax in bed.

Then, the setup of the current owners is what you'd duplicate. I'd buy a more comfy chair though - maybe even a chaise to have another place to watch TV.

The current set up is a great option. I would purchase an armoire vs. mounting the tv. Mounting a tv in a bedroom feels like a hotel.
