Trachelospermum jasminoides and.......

I'm greedy and have two questions, please.

First, Is star jasmine, Trachelospermum jasminoides , a slow grower? Want it to cover part of a low hill in coastal Ca. , approx. 10' steep by 6' wide. Seecondly, can stephanotis withstand afternoon western sun against a white wall, in the same zone?

Star jasmine is a relatively rapid growers, especially in a sunny area in CA. You should get pretty full coverage in a single growing season for that size area, especially if you provide adequate water to assist with establishment. Can't say about the stephanotis as I have not grown that plant.
