Plant w/Hydrangea and Rhododendron

Hi everyone! I have a shared border that extends from full sun to part sun to shade. I followed advice from other users and removed all the smaller plants and invested in two three year plants: the rhododendron is thriving in the full shade, the zebra hydrangea looked awesome as well and bloomed last summer into fall. Now I need a shrub for the full sun area, and hoping to order before Spring. Any suggestions?

Do you want a shrub or a flowering plant like the hydrangea? How tall and wide do you want it to get?

Should it be deciduous or evergreen? And if you like flowering shrubs is scent important? What is your zone? 5, 6 or 7?

Hi...thanks for responding. I already have a hydrangea there so was hoping for something else. The PJM and Zebra Hydrangea are expected to be 4-5 ft so something that height will fit in well. I'm in zone 5.
