Hi Christian, what a beautiful entrance! I think sconces on the side walls would be a nice accent. I also think the main chandelier should be much larger, right now it's being swallowed! As for decor, large artwork is a simple way to add visual interest and fill wall space. A console table between the shelves would also be functional in an entry and a way to incorporate more accessories. You might consider some under-cabinet lighting for the shelves to highlight them, and put colorful or metallic accessories to really make it pop.

Beautiful space! Although you do not need a round rug in the center, you do need runners along the side. If you could take a picture at a wider angle that would help. Also, I would love to see the rest of your gorgeous home!

Go 2-3 times as big on the chandelier and stay with the rustic iron/ wood style. You could even select Andalusian style lighting to spice things up and add an exotic touch while still being in line with the rest of the decor. Alternatively you can save money by hanging 3 or 5 lamps at varying heights. the amount depends on the size of the lamps and it will draw the eye up and highlight your nice touches on the entry wall.

or place a substantial credenza there with a large arrangement in the center or a beautiful large art piece on top of the table.

Don't be afraid to go bold, the style and general lay out along with the materials call for it and have fun!

The additional photos are very helpful as it becomes clear that there is indeed enough space to put a heavier round table in the center. without measurements and one angle, it is not always apparent going by the photos only. I would suggest a wood or wood / iron combinations and a large centerpiece in top to draw the eye up to the larger chandelier and other design details. I was afraid one would have to maneuver around it too much, but this clearly is not the case.
