Bought a house and I think the designer/decorator was Sophia from the Golden Girls I'm redoing the master bath but the guest bath is just as bad. Unfortunately I don't have the money to gut this one so in the interim I just want to get by a few years. I'm going to stain or paint cabinets - add hardware - and paint the laminate counters a different color. Will also finish off mirrors with thick wooden frame. Need to repaint walls. Check out tile in bathroom. It's got that dark grout too. Yikes. I'm just having trouble picking out colors for this bc the darn sink is a cream or biscuit color. Why couldn't she have picked white?! I don't want to faux the counter either so plz no faux suggestions. Was thinking chalkboard painting the counters since it will be my kids bathroom but Black Counter could be too harsh. Then was thinking espresso cabinets but then what color for counter ? Argh I'm stuck.
