Nice form and color. Maybe next year you'll get more blooms, but I wouldn't be too disappointed with 4 the first year.

I agree, 4 blooms for a maiden bloom and in only two years is amazing!! Very cute and I'm sure next year will bring more flowers! ☺☺Donna

What a cutie :-)))))) I'd be thrilled to death if my seedlings flowered in two years!!!! You must be very happy, I know I would be. How tall are the scapes? If its a mini keep me in mind, I would love to buy an offset :-))))))

It's pretty!

It is, as was already indicated by Christie and by Donna, fair to assume, that the bulb will produce more florets per umbel, after increasing to a more mature size. "Baby Star" as shown in your picture, is actually "Lilly Star" which obviously has replaced "Baby Star", entirely. Thank you for your documentation!

Thank you all for your comments. I just looked at Emaryllis.com, and the mother is definitely Lilly Star. I hope Lilly Star is as hardy as Baby Star, which is reportedly hardy in my climate (z7/8). I should discover this spring because I believe I left Lilly Star in the ground outdoors this winter.

This seedling is currently a mini, blooming from a 16cm bulb and scape of 31 cm.
