Kitchen remodel help?!

So we had a pipe burst and the upside is we get to remodel our kitchen. This is the before picture (below).....this is what we know so far.....we are planning to paint the cabinets white and use the dark faux wood porcelain tile for the floors (picture below). Not sure on counters and backsplash. Any thoughts would be appreciated? Over time the fridge and dishwasher will move to stainless steel. Also need to decide on sink and hardware. Open to thoughts on that? Thanks!!

I like the Uba Tuba countertop with a stainless steel sink. I do not like the wood trim bordering the tile that is there now.

Your choice of flooring tile is beautiful. If you decide on the Uba Tuba then I think you should look at a lighter shade in the same tile. For the other two counter choices the chosen flooring works.

I like the look of your current backsplash. I am very tired of subway. I would do something similar to what you have now but without the accent stripe.
