Fred, who not give your Clivia to a co-worker who would enjoy it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! You might bring a spot of sunshine into someone's day.

Does Cambridge have a "Mall" at your dump like our town does? In the summer months my husband has brought several rhododendrons in pots as well as loads of daylilies that he/we no longer wanted to the "Mall" and they disappeared immediately!! My Bogota mislabel just might end up there this year too!! Maybe....☻☻

Unfortunately we don't but I'm sure if I put a "free" sign on it on trash night, someone will scoop it up. In the surrounding suburbs they do have "Malls" so I may visit one of them. Thanks for the suggestion...☻☻

May I suggest, if you do put them in the trash, that you include something about there being nothing wrong with them? I think people are suspicious when something is in the garbage that looks perfectly fine. Suggestion: "Free. Absolutely nothing wrong with it." OR "Free. Healthy. Overstock." I like the idea of bring them to the mall. You just might meet some interesting or appreciative people. Wish I lived closer! LOL

You might run into the Post Office if it isn't busy, set the plant on the counter with a sign, "Please take me Home" and then run out fast!!☺☺
