I benefited so much from the examples of kitchens that were posted online that I thought I'd go ahead and post what I did with our kitchen remodel that we are close to finishing. This is what we had before hand. Maple cabinets, formica countertops, above the countertop sink. An overall structure which was fine with us, but not the colors or counters that we wanted.

Here are some after shots:

Counters are Caesarstone London Grey. Love it them. Great stain resistance, dead ringer for marble. Hood is Zephyr Savona model which is curved which I like a lot. Subway tile is Daltile from Home Depot. Cabinets were refaced by a company called American Wood Reface. Pendant lights are from Amazon. Cooktop was the Anco 5 burner from Costco. Saved a bunch of money by getting our fridge from Goedekers- $800 off compared to other online stores. Saved some money by not getting as built in microwave and re-using our old oven.

Altogether, we came in a little over budget at $25K, but it was worth every penny! Thanks to everyone who has posted their kitchen examples for us to consider. They made a big difference for us.
