You can't change the bulbs when they wear. That's the biggest thing to think about. When they wear and all bulbs do you will have to toss the whole thing and buy a new one.

When a LED panel is well designed (good cooling, no current overdrive) the LED's will go for 50000+ hours, you have more to worry about the lifetime of the electronic drivers.

When you are looking for a panel check the power drain from the mains, only a few sellers of panels give that information for example a 300 Watt that only draws 110V 1.8 amp that is 198 Wat the LED driver have a efficiency of around 90% so the output will be something of 198 X 0.9 = 178 Watt not bad at all but not 300Watt.

Nice, but expensive panels are those who are switchable for germinating, growing and flowering populair for "medical" plants growers :-)
