Potting up Francisii

I have this plant which I think is Francisii. Several months ago it started rotting at the base so I pulled it up and cut it and it's been sitting on top of its pot (gritty mix) ever since. I'd like to repot it but this is my first time with a sans that has these type of aerial roots. The main stem and one of the arms have the tiniest little nubs starting and the other arm has a longer nub. Would you advise I cut it so I have 3 plants and pot them once the wounds heal or should I try to go ahead and repot the plant as 1 now that the main stem is putting out a root?
