milk weed seeds

A friend from Utah sent me some what she called Dessert Milk weed seeds. I'm wondering if I can plant them in zone 6b?

We got to 20 last week and will I'm sure again. Do you folks think they will survive here?

Do you think they are worth the trouble? Doesn't seem like they are much good to butterflies and bees!
