The first one looks like a toothpick cactus.

The second one looks like a Pilosocereus Azureus.

I missed both because I looked at cylindrical cacti instead of treelike. Also, most photos online feature mature plants (that do look like trees) and mine are only several inches tall and have no side growth yet. If they do grow to the advertised 15-30 feet, I might need to remove part of the roof :)

Your very welcome. When you mentioned home depot that helped a lot as I am well aware of what cacti they sell.

If you ever get stuck by a cactus spine make sure you disinfect the wound right away.

For some reason cactus sticks by their spines get infected easily. Never figured out why, just know it does at least for me.

^^^ suspect might be something to do with other plants' thorns usually have acid or similar on it... so they're more painful on first contact. But cacti pricks don't have such antibacterial properties so you don't feel as much pain upfront but it lets in nasties.
