Dracaena Marginata Help

Hi Everyone! I could use some help with my poor Dracaena. I've had it for about 6 months now, but for the past couple of months it has gotten kind of droopy and sad looking. I'm very much a beginner when it comes to house plants, but I will try to give you as much info as I can.

It is in a large south facing window, but it's winter, so the amount of light is reduced. When the weather warms up, it will go into a south facing sun room with more light. It was doing great in the sun room until we had to bring it inside for the winter.

At first I thought I was over watering it, so I decreased the amount of water I was giving it. It didn't get worse, but has not perked up at all. I've been watering it around once every week and a half or so, when the soil is dry.

The tips of the leaves are brown, which I have read could be a sign of flouride (which we have in our water) so I switched to giving it distilled water 2 or 3 waterings ago.

The tallest tree in the center is drooping the most. The smaller ones seem to be doing better. I noticed today that the tallest tree has sent a root down into the soil from it's stem above the soil line. Does that mean anything? A sign of root distress below?

I have a feeling my soil might not be well draining enough. It's just a regular potting soil mix from Lowes (Miracle Grow, maybe?). I think it needs to be repotted, but I don't know if that would traumatize it any worse!

Any suggestions would be so helpful! Thanks!
