They make multiple offsets which is normal. As they all grow the plant starts to look like a shrub! Lol.

They are slow growers. They like good sun (sounds like you are doing that.). They like the fall cool down. They also like moisture. Do not keep it too dry.

Too bad you didn't get a spike this year. Looks big enough.

Next year, leave it outside to get the cool down in Fall. Keep it moist but lots of sun. Do not cut off the offshoots.

Everything Jane said is 'right on' from research I've done. I also got a similar plant from Reid, except mine is a Lemford crossed back to magdalene. SLOW growing for sure. I'm hoping with a year in my climate that it may show more growth this Spring/summer. I find this plant to be VERY thirsty and I'm giving it very strong light. Hopefully both of us will get to see first blooms this year.

as you can perhaps see, you were much braver than I and I opted for a pot in larger pot type of repotting. I had a sesquipadale several years back and it did not do well after I repotted! Now I'm a coward when it comes to this plant and a leonis that I'm hopeful will bloom some day soon!

Well, the way the leaves are kind of twisted and bunched up seems kind of wrong to me (unnatural), but I don't know if it really matters.

Also, what I would consider another point of concern, is the surface/root area. To me, the roots look a bit 'rotty' and kind of brown, like rotten roots.

The plant base, too, looks a little brown/maybe rotten, as if the plant could have suffered being planted a bit deeper.

The soil also looks a little dense, what kind of soil are you using?
