I may have figured out the problem! It is always raining and the burlap that I wrapped the trunk in is basically always wet or moist inside. I just took off the burlap and the outside of the trunk is rotting! I threw away the burlap and got the copper fungicide and sprayed the trunks and center fronds well (But not to much!) and if I start seeing improvement I will continue to spray it until it clears up. But does anyone else use anything to get rid of rot?

I think yes, your wet burlap coupled with tons of extra moisture in the air and ground from the melting snow, would definitely have triggered rot, especially on a palm such as a pindo palm.

As to a solution, try cinnamon. The advantage to cinnamon is, too much cinnamon will not kill a plant, cinnamon kills bacteria, and should do nicely for that palm. I would say just dump some at the site of the rotting, or just dump it on the new leaf spear.

Hopefully, that does it. I always liked natural home-made remedies, they make you feel like you are doing things yourself. (as opposed to grabbing some fungicide at the supermarket)
