This structural kitchen remodel was completed for a client in Mission Viejo, California. The change is so dramatic, clients can't even believe it is the same kitchen.

The "after" view appears to take up much more floor space. This does not look like a redecorating. It looks as though the adjacent rooms must have lost space somewhere?

The fridge seems wider than the old wall ovens and those three upper cabinet doors appear to take up more space than the old two door upper

It might be the photography? Many homes do not have rooms adjacent to the kitchen that can afford to give up floor space so I'd like to know what really took place in this kitchen remodel. Bigger and lighter usually look better than "before" views.

So much lighter. Really like the glasses-in cabinet and the pass-through. Very very nice.

I like the fact that soffits were removed and finishing materials better matched - colorful floor, wood pattern on the cabinets and spotty counter /backsplash in the before photo are doing my head in... Can't believe someone has chosen such combo at some point.

I noticed the extra photos but I'd like to see the "before" floor plan vs. the "after" floor plan. Just curious what had to be done to accomplish this large kitchen.

Beautiful but like others I wonder is it really the same space? How was floor plan reconfigured, what other spaces were changed? View out the window seems to have changed from pool to fence?? Where was fridge in before, where are cooktop and ovens in after?

A little sketchy that the fence is closer in the 2nd picture but in the first there's a seating area and the fence is further away.
