I'm sorry for your disappointment. Pretty flowers though but if you already have some then you'd better buy a full grown aulicum bulb from Telos when the weather is right. We're not getting any younger ya know and when you can buy a ready to bloom bulb, why wait!!!

My bloom of Aulicum var stenopetalum was also a disappointment. Mine came from Glass Works Nursery. I ordered another one from them hoping for something better..

BTW your's looks very pretty but certainly not Aulicum. Mine is about 12" in height and that's one thing I like about it (I'm into minis). How tall is yours?

That is interesting that both came from the same place. The bulb is very large and I have taken several offsets of it. It blooms a little taller about 15 inches. But I want the real thing like they picture on their web site.

I definitely will. Like I said, I have Aulicum forma robustum soaking right now along with iguazuanum that I got from PBS. They're looking quite plump and ready to sprout anytime. I feel like a nervous expecting dad. Ooof this is what my life has been reduced to...wow am I pathetic :-))))))

Yes disappointing, but pretty. I'm the kind of person that wouldn't throw away a plant even if is isn't what I wanted. I figure one's overstock could be someone else's treasure. Good luck with yours.
