Yep, that's a pellet replanted in a peat pot. I'm not really sure what I'm doing so I am just kinda winging it. I bought a reflector and a 300watt dual spectrum cfl light that is hanging above the plants and is on a timer from 6am to 9pm right now. I am just kinda unsure when I should repot them and what kind of soil to use, when to fertilize and what to use, etc. Also I haven't found anyone that has said If the light I have will work or not. Its like this one 300w dual spectrum cfl. Thanks for any advice

That's what I figured, it may be leaf burn/light protection from floscent lighting, try cutting back to 10-12 hours. I usually go about 12-13 hours max. How many plants are you supporting with that one light?

usually after two to three sets of true leaves I fertlize unless I am using a MG type mix that includes 3 months worth of fertlizer. There are many mixes and it's about what works for you. I personally use MG Orchid mix (not course blend) and MG Organic choice and throw in some additional perlite and that has worked for me over the years.

I'll try that and see if it helps. Right now I think there is 12 little plants growing. I was planning on giving most away to friends and just trying to grow 2 or 3 to maturity under the light.

About repotting, I would have repotted by now into solo cups, but then again I plan for planting outside. Seems from what I understand you want to keep them indoors the whole time, while difficult not impossible, and I can't make recommendations on that aspect but others here can. If you have the space you should pot up to a larger pot, you may even want to pot them up into their final home. Good luck and keep us posted on your results.

i would also recommend not to transfer the peat pot into the next pot as it takes longer to breakdown and harder for the roots to spread outside of the peat pot, which could later stunt growth.

Yeah, I'm trying to get them to grow peppers indoors. Seems like more of a challenge:) I think my wife and I are going to repot them in their final home this weekend. Thanks for the tip on the peat pots, I was wondering if the roots could break through them easily enough.
