Five burners (on gas especially) don't usually give you an extra burner because in most cases there isn't space to use the side burners well when using the middle one. However, I sometimes wish I had one when using a wok because my wok hangs over the sides of my range far enough to get under the upper cabinets if I use it in the back. (I do have a 36" hood over my 30" range but I guess my wok is too big.)

What Fori just said plus I am recalling some threads from the last year or two where there were some recommendations for Frigidaire models. (Where is Deeageaux when we need him?) IIRC, these all had model numbers beginning with FGGF. Some had five burners and a convection oven (fan only) and some had 4 burners with a third (electric) heating element for so-called "true" convection. I think there was one with five burners and a "true" convection for under $1k. You might check out AJ Madison and Lowes whose sites have some search filters that could help find these models.
