We added new granite countertops, backsplash, and board and batten to peninsula a couple years ago. Eventually, we want to replace appliances (counter depth for fridge).
For now, we want to "build in" fridge, bringing cabinet over fridge forward, and wood down each side of fridge counter depth. To the right of the fridge we are thinking of building a narrow pantry cabinet (only about 4 or 5 inches deep) with doors facing out into open floor plan area.
Also thinking of adding wood on top of cabinets to extend cabinet to ceiling and crown molding all around kitchen.
I would like to tackle painting all cabinets with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I have expert advice and have taken a class and already tackled a big chalk paint project.
Please pass along any tips, advice you may have for constructing fridge enclosure, adding height to cabinets, paint color choice, etc. thank you! We hope to get started this three day weekend!
