Dining room help, please

I need help with some decor for this room. The wallpaper has to stay for now so I need to work with it being there. The door beyond the sliding door is a sun room (empty right now) that will be used often. Any suggestions on table decor, wall decor, curtains?
I do want to somehow include this quote, "bless the food before us..." Will attach a pic below.
Thanks in advance.

The words would look nice on a wall with a buffet. Do you have a buffet? Also, I am assuming that you are going to change that light over the table.

Shirlpp yes the light definitely I want to change but not sure what kind. Buffet - I don't have one yet, actually didn't know where to put one and not make the room look more congested. N

The rug is long enough, however it is not wide enough. It needs to be large enough for chairs to be pulled out & still remain on the rug. With a new light fixture, perhaps a rectangular one & the wallpaper removed, this should be a nice room for dining.

Add the plaques with the quotes to the wall opposite the wallpapered wall. Space them evenly about 6 " apart at about seated eye level. Add some window coverings to make the room more special. Install close to the ceiling & down to the floor. If that is a slider get grommet top or clip top drapes to easily open & close them.

I'd think that on the wall opposite the wallpapered wall, you can fit a sideboard or maybe a console table. Something that is not fully closed in.

You need to change the light fixture and add some drapes. Some decor on the table would be nice. A thin buffet would fit. If your budget permits; the area rug could be a little bigger.

You have beautiful floors and your wooden table is really nice. You need to think about the outdoors that is right outside this room and bring it in thru paint, lighting, and wall decor. I would paint the walls using soft hues. A good place for your quote would be above the sliding doors. You need to soften the sliding doors with panels that can be pulled at night so that you don't have a black wall when it's dark out.

You could find a metal working shop to see if they do this kind of work for your quote.

I would change your lighting to something more rustic. Curtain panels the color of the walls.

Not sure if you want to keep the wallpaper or if you have to keep the wallpaper. Consider painting over it to declutter the room visually. Then you can decorate anyway you like - you won't have to decorate "around" something. Good luck.

Would this solid color drapes look good?

Bigger rug - same kind of design and color?

Barbara, my daughter wants the wallpaper so leaving it there for her and she will grow out of it so at that time I hope to use your idea of painting over it. N

This comes in this print and also solid colors, hang them on rings and clips instead of the rod pocket? Should I hang from right above the door frame or closer to the ceiling? I like the thin buffet idea so looking for one.
