trying to decide between granite versus quartz?

I am doing a house renovation and am conflicted between doing the kitchen counters in quartz or granite. concerns about radon, food safety, quality, what is better.

Can you give me information on the beds, they seem custom made.

Quartz has little to no radon off gassing and is more stain and mildew resistant than granite. It can often come with an anti-microbial sealant. I prefer quartz to granite for kitchens.

Quartz is a better quality and long term option. I am remodelling my kitchen and was faced with the same dilemma. I've had granite counters in the past, as well. The fact that quartz stains less is the main reason I am switching. Ease of maintenance, durability and usability makes me favour quartz.

I would go for granite because of the sparkle that it gives when it is wiped over!

I would go for the quartz. sometime granite is to busy depending on the patterns.
