Moldable Concrete for your Garden Projects.

Let me start by stating that I am not an employee of this company, nor do I receive any payment for my comments! I just want to share the fun with fellow crafters!!

I found a product called - ShapeCrete while surfing the net. It comes in a bucket and looks like Portland Cement. Add water and it can be shaped like clay. I have not tried it yet, but I have read that it can be used when making Hypertufa. It is not cheap, however if you have a creative project that you need a more stable ( does not run) product, this may be of interest to you. I will post a link to my blog, ( I don't like to post photos here anymore) This project (bowl) is just the product and water.

Mike, What does the mix feel like, stickier than cement or mortar mix? The bowl you made is pretty cool.

Thanks Billie, Actually it is not stickier. The instructions offer two ways to mix ( more or less water) When you mix with more water it is good for cement leaves. For this bowl I mixed it with less water. Less water mix can be formed with your hands , almost like wet clay and then applied to the outside of the form. It does not run down the sides, I think this is where this product will be most beneficial.

However still will use portland and sand for leaves.
