Our bathroom has a built in 28" x 22.5 vanity on right as soon as you walk in, with toilet beyond it and shower stall on the left side from front wall to back wall. My dilemma is that there are no 28" "big box store" vanity cabinets. They are 24" and then 30". I could get 24" with 4" filler and pay for custom top to offset sink, etc., but I would get minimal look for a bigger cost than a stand-alone. I could get a 28" stand-alone but I would have a gap below the top to the floor of about 1/2" to 1" depending on style (I like traditional). I prefer stand-alone styles and value but worry about a stand alone that has the top essentially against the side wall with a gap between the cabinet and the wall. Any ideas?
