I have had this dendrobium for almost three years. This is the first semi successfull blooming. About twice a year the canes are covered with buds, which blasted before getting close to opening.
This year I kept is out in my poorly heated greenhouse until mid January. It experienced low in the 40s and highs in the low 60s. I called this blooming semi successful because 50% of the buds still blasted.
However this blooming was enough encouragement for me to keep trying.
