Thank you very much, I absolutely love the outcome of their fireplace also. As for the Sherwin Williams paint finish, I do believe I had the contractor actually use a satin finish not any glossy, it probably is the lighting in the photo that gives the paint color a glossy appearance. There is allot of detail in the woodwork of this fireplace & the satin appears to highlight it a little better, if I was to go with a gloss finish it could detract from that. Plus this fireplace is orginal to the home & had a few imperfections with age, so a satin finish does not draw as much attention to those flaws as a gloss would. Depending on your project a gloss finish may work for you & I would think that in the Keystone Gray color that would look wonderful & very rich, I really love the color.
