Just a simple flower

I've had this sans about 3 years, it summers outside in the shade where it reaches 100 degrees. The poor thing had a rough summer, near drowning by moi and dh, then attacked by critters, covered in black widow web and now it's made a come back. They all had it tough.

A trooper it sounds like! Handsome too, can I ask out of curiosity how tall are the leaves? Am guessing 20-24" or so. Nice, happy envy for you!

Some kind of Cylindrica? Evening fragrant? I've grown lots of Sans but never had one bloom, so cool.

When I received it it was labeled as 'koko' , the flower is slightly fragrant in the evening. The longest leaf is 46cm or about 16". It's tough as nails and even sharper! Getting poked is unforgettable.

Koko is a mutt found by Ed Eby in Koko Crater, Hawaii. It is a very nice plant. I had one that I had bought from Ed Eby's son.
