Thanks, kimmsr.....I love many of those old text books. I see that this one was edited by Liberty Hyde Bailey, a name much beloved in the world of horticulture and botany.

The book, "The Soil, Its Nature, Relations, and Fundamental Principles of Management" By F. H. King, Professor of Agricultural Physics in the University of Wisconsin, was published in 1908. I see in what I have read thus far much of what researchers of today are "discovering.

The link was not posted as spam but for others to maybe learn from.
