Wow, thanks for commenting so fast.i thought I was getting lucking getting two types of Hoyas in one pot. On looking closer I think I do have a reverting thing going on. Should I separate the two? From what I'm reading the verigated strains tend to all revert back to solid.

Yes, I think the curly leaved one is holliana. No, not all variegates revert back. 'KP' is famous for doing so, but 'Krimson Queen' doesn't. At least I've never had one revert back. I got a variegated obovata last year and every new leaf it has grown has been solid green. Some variegates are stable, some aren't.

So where did you get your new Hoyas?

There is a Garden Gallery nearby, they sometimes have a few nice surprises. I'm in Canada, so I grab anything different when I see it. Hoyas aren't the easiest to come by.

My KQ is reverting, but it's ten years old so I'm not even mad at it. ;)

@shellyapworks, you could separate them if you want to for aesthetic reasons, but you don't have to. They're both vigorous growers with the same requirements, and they look like they're prob pretty close to root bound, so you could up pot them if you wanted to. If you separate them, I would put each in a 4" pot for now, if you keep them together, I would go up no more than 2".
