Where are you in Canada (location and zone) and what type of spot do you have to grow these indoors until it is warm enough to plant out? Sulphur Queen is a type of Peruvian daffodil/Hymenocallis, which is hardy to zone 8, so it can be planted outside in some parts of Canada.

Hopefully someone with experience growing these will weigh in once you have given a bit more info.

If you want to add where you are to your profile so that it shows up at the top of your GW postings without you having to remember to add it, here is how:

Go to Your Houzz in the upper right of every page, click Edit Profile, and on the left side click advanced settings. Well down the advanced settings page is a blank labeled Climate Zone for Garden Forums along with a link to find your zone. USDA zone only relates to average coldest winter temperatures, but I think Canadian zones are a bit different and include other info as well,so you might want to say if you are giving Canadian zone or US zone.

If you add info on your province or the nearest large city you will get even better information. You can do this by adding it to your Profile Information under First Name (Publicly Displayed) on the first page under Edit Profile.

Then return to the top of the page and click Done Editing.

I am just north of Barrie, zone 5a. I can grow these in my sunroom. I know I can plant them outdoors but I like to start things early inside whenever possible.
