We used to have an Iris Society in the area and I was able to purchase Ozone Alert at their annual sale. Unfortunately the Society dissolved a couple years ago so no more fun sales. I did go out of town to a small one last year and am anxious to see those new blooms. Would be so happy to share if I could. Ann

Here is a noid that I'm fond of. It came from the Tulsa Iris Society sale. It was mixed in with a group of rhizomes that were correctly marked. It was a surprise when it bloomed in the midst of them. I call it Yellow Surprise.

I just discovered that there is an iris alphabet. Great idea, Redwolfdoc. I used to have several vintage beardeds, but they disappeared on me when I could not take care of the garden for several years. Iris borer, and my clay soil did not help either. I now have the three types of pallida Dalmatica, and a few others I don't have a picture of.

Thank you, Karen. I love irises, especially the historic ones. Now that I have improved the drainage I may be able to get a few more. I really regret the loss of my old ones.
