With a Teenager in College (out of state tuition) I cannot afford a interior decorator...but I need HELP!!! or low-cost assistance. I hate the color of my living room and need a desperately need a change. I was thinking of painting the stairway/balcony one color and another complimentary color below and adding crown moulding. The wall color is Puke Gold/yellow. Here are some photos:
