It's a beauty. Very shiny leaves. Did you do anything to brighten them? Somewhat like a Wagner's Gold with the differing variegations. Very cool, whatever it is. Good luck with it!

Thanks everyone, Of course I can't take credit since I just got it. We will see how it looks in a few months. It really needs to be repotted. The leaves are just really shiny and waxy looking. Also very dark. I googled it and it is patented, a sport of black gold superba, unpatented. It was found in Costa Rica.

Would be interesting to see if you got many plants planted together. Should then be planted apart to see what develops. I like they. Also would love to come over and feel so welcomed in that setting.

As soon as the weather warms up, I am going to take this one apart and get rid of some old dead roots. It has 3 or four pups coming up, but there is no room in the pot. I am guessing there may have been 3 plants in the pot, we'll see.

i got the plant at Pike nursery, They are scattered around the Atlanta Ga. area.

The pot is a handmade pottery piece that I have had for over 30 years. There is a patent out on Blackjack, so you might ask a local nursery if they could order one for you.
