I have 2 packages of store-bought blue flax from 2011. Blue flax loves well draining soil and is drought resistant. I meant to plant this around a telephone pole when I lived in KS, but after morning glory refused to sprout there I figured the area was inhospitible to all life aside from Spanish needles...the creosote maybe? Now I live in MO and the clay soil here wouldn't drain if you asked it nicely, so this old seed isn't gonna get a chance with me any time soon. If you're interested, I will trade you for ANYTHING that might do well in clay soil. What's languishing in YOUR seed box??
