Where are you located (7b covers a lot of real estate!!)? You may be able to find blooming hellebores for sale at local independent nurseries or garden centers right now. Some even find them at the box stores and super markets, as these are becoming increasingly popular plants.

Otherwise, some excellent mail order sources are Pine Knot Farms and Plant Delights Nursery, both on the east coast.

FWIW, most mail order nurseries are bound to generate a few negative reviews - it is just the nature of the business - but I'd agree that the recent quantity of negatives re: Sunshine Farms would give me pause also. I would also have to say that I have never ordered from any of these vendors so have no personal knowledge other than the feedback I've seen on this site (and others). I am fortunate to live in a part of the world that has a plethora of both wholesale growers and excellent retail nurseries so mail order has never been a requirement for me - I can find pretty much any plant I want locally.

I am in N MS, a mile south of Memphis.

Thanks for the info. I am a hosta person with lots of companions for them, but very few hellebores. We do have great nurseries around so I will check them out soon.
