Is the cooktop completely flush with the counter?

I am looking for a cooktop sold in the USA that is flush with counter. Most might be flush, but then the burners stick up. From the picture it looks like it is flush. What is the brand and model you used?

p.s. beautiful kitchen!

Hello loves_succulents. This cooktop is made to be countersunk so the stainless rim is flush with the countertop but the burners do project up a small amount. It is by Miele. You might also look at DCS/Fisher Paykel. They make a glass top gas cooktop where the gas ports rise above the glass surface when activated and then lower to completely flush again when not in use. It's very cool to see.

Edmond Kitchen and bath, I didn't notice a vent in this kitchen. My cooktop will be on an island too but cannot have a hood above. Do you think a vent is necessary? I currently have a downdraft
