Self leveling paint, when applied properly and good and wet, levels out brush marks as it dries, and most of them dry very, very fast.

I used Benjamin Moore's Advanced paint to paint my kitchen cabinets. This paint is self-leveling... I didn't think much of that term until I saw it first hand - one day I painted my cabinet and all looked well. I set it aside and started on the next cabinet... A couple minutes later I checked on the first cabinet and the paint looked awful - almost all splotchy!! I about freaked out and almost tried touching up the paint because I couldn't understand why it looked good when I was done, but then changed 15 minutes later. Well about that time I reminded myself I was using quality paint and that BM would come through for me lol... A little while later the cabinet turned out beautiful and that's when I realized what "self-leveling" meant... It gave a whole new meaning to "watching paint dry" too...
