Evergreen Azaleas?

I might be wrong but I think of all Azaleas as having a somewhat trailing habit.

But maybe that's because my favourite ones are the small-leaved, small-flowered ones.

It would take a while to get the effect you are after but nothing wrong with that. It will be glorious one day.

Whoops, didn't answer the question. I was thinking of 'Kirin' and the one that has crimson flowers - don't know its name. Also comes in red which is called 'Red Wings'. And white I think. My favourites are 'Kirin' and the crimson one.

(When you say 'trailing' I figure you mean that beautiful tiered effect? I am sure they would follow the slope of the ground.)

I know of a couple that have a trailing habit - 'Alexander' and 'Flame Creeper' come to mind. And 'Osakazuki', while not necessarily "trailing", certainly has a very spreading habit.

Nakahari is a low growing, trailing azalea. Flame Creeper more so.
