My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I was just wondering if you have had any problems with this. We have the same fireplace and it gets so hot it has ruined everything we have tried to put around it.; Including bending steel and aluminum and melting fireplace mortar. I have heard others have had issues but thought maybe you have found the cure!

    I checked to be sure and there has been no problem with this fireplace surround. Yes this unit does put out a lot of heat and the surround does get hot. I do not know what has happened in your case but I have built in excess of thirty mantels over the last fourteen year around fireplaces from this particular manufacture and have not had any problems at all. Rick
