So, my boyfriend of three years really wants a wisteria plant for his birthday. (I know, he's an odd duck.) That being said, he is not an avid gardener and may not know exactly how to take care of one. What would be best to get him? I think a tree is what he wants, but is there any special kind of fertilizer/pot/trellis/etc. that he would need to keep it healthy? We are newbies in this realm and I have a bit of a brown thumb so I'm not sure what to get him. We live in Texas.
