I moved into my home in Dec. 2014. There are about five little roses that I was told were planted that previous summer. They are under a very large maple tree and get only morning sun. These roses are so unhealthy, they are just sticks; one did put out a tiny bloom last summer that made me think they are knock-out roses. My question is should I move them and put them in afternoon sun? Is it most likely the tree causing the problem or lack of sun? I know roses don't like morning shade but I'm thinking things can't get much worse!
