I would leave them like that. If it ends up being too crowded later, you could scoop an extra plant or two out of there & put them elsewhere.

ps: did you wet the media by hand first ... fluffing and wetting ... i suspect not.. and that is why too many of the white blobs floated up ... peat can be so dry .. it never really wets properly in a pot ... so i prewet .. and then give them a good drink after planting ... i use a wheelbarrow to wet the stuff ... then fill the pots ...

Yes I did wet the media as you described. The white blobs are extra perlite that I added to the mix.
