Need help choosing wall color for kitchen

I'm looking to re-paint my kitchen. I need something that will go with the beige floor & backsplash. I love light gray, but worry it will clash with the beige. I'm also not opposed to painting the cabinets white, but I have 2 boys so I worry about the cleaning factor. Thanks!
