I'll post when the new buds open but I was hoping someone might have an idea based on the bud.

Was there any sort of label to tell if it is a Poulsen Roser (Parade, Victory or Hit) rose or a Kordana rose (from Kordes)?

Probably a Poulsen, but without seeing the open bloom, hard to tell. Also, there are a lot of pink minis sold at the mass marketers.

Mine didn't have a label. I think just a generic Miniature Rose care tag. If and when it blooms I'll post a picture. And hopefully ut2nc will post one when theirs opens too. :)

^^^ mine were the same, just general info. I tracked the nursery down from sinething in the tag and asked them on Facebook but the last time I checked they hadn't responded.

I will defintely post when they open. I split mine into individual plants. All but the one remaining potted are doing well. I didn't realize the pot was sitting in water and it might not recover. :( Still, 5 out of 6 roses isn't bad!

Mine were from Walmart also. They had red ones too.

I have some red ones too. One of them is doing really well. I just repotted it but left all the plants together. I've repotted all of the ones I got except the one I think that is like yours. It's doing well but hasn't bloomed. I want to find a nice pot for it. :) I want to find some nice pots for the ones I just got from TJ's too. None of them are blooming except the red one but jasiminerose4u said they are probably establishing roots in their new homes. I'll be patient :)

I keep checking in on the one with two buds . They are still a) there and b) perky. Hopefully they will open soon. Waiting is killing me!

I'm still learning.

I just repotted my Gigi last night. I actually separated each plant. I put them in the same pot but separated them so they can stretch out. Most nerve-racking process ever lol I wish I was at home to check on it. She had so many beautiful blooms on her and such a sweet fragrance. I hope each plant makes it through the transplant. Patience is a pain lol :D The waiting is killing me too. I want my other roses to bloom. But I do see new growth so that's something :)

I soaked mine in a bucket of water and sort of worked them free. I saw a post on it -here I think. It went pretty smoothly.

I did that too. I was just so afraid of ripping an important root out by accident. Took my time and it seemed to go ok :)

ut2nc, how is your separated rose doing?

5 out of the 6 are doing well. The one I put back in the pot was sitting in water in the outer pot. I didn't know this and it sat for at least 24 hours like that. I reported it into faster draining soil when I reported another rose yesterday. We'll see if it makes it.

Some of the others sulked a little but a extra water cured that. I haven't even lost the two buds. Here's hoping the cooler weather doesn't bother them and they get to open.

Two of the roses I think are like the ones you have, have buds forming. :)

YAY! The one I have is juuuust starting to peek through those sepals. I think a few more days and we'll know what we got ourselves into!

I can't wait! The suspense is killing me! Hahaha :D

Those long sepals kill me! It's like they are playing dress-up in their Momma's heels!

They are taking their sweet time, that's for sure. We are getting rain tomorrow. I don't know if that will help or hurt matters.

Not much of one ! I cut one bud and brought it in, hoping it will bloom in case an animal or the expected rough weather finishes the other one off.

I took these this morning.

They did until the bud fattened up and the sepals spread kind of wide. Much less funny looking now though.
