Datil pepper care

I have a Datil pepper plant growing. Hard to find much info on taking care of these plants, and what is ideal. Any insight is appreciated! Also, do I have a bug eating my leaves? I have 2-3 leaves with a few holes that then browned. Will a dawn dish soap spray work, or do I need something stronger?
